Kids: As of now, Shaggy (my jack russell/shitzu) and my Fish (Nemo, Jack, Pun, Tyrone and well you get it, lol.) The names Pun and Tyrone were all hubby, just thought I'd point that out. :)
Since I was a little girl, I have always loved to write and I couldn't stand basically any subject in school but English. As I was growing up I didn't think of writing as a career because let's face it there are so many things you want to be as a child and of course I surely went down that rode. I wanted to be a dancer (vowed that I would be one of Madonna or Janet's back up dancers,) veterinarian, pediatrician, you name it, I wanted to do it all. I tried being a vet assistant and although it didn't work out (having to break the news of putting someone's baby to sleep just wasn't for me) I have no regrets as I know in my heart that I at least gave it a shot.
In regards to dancing, although I didn't become a back up dancer for Madonna or Janet, it is stil a huge part of my life and something I will always and forever be passionate about. I am shaking my butt every chance I get and if the song has a good beat, I'm moving to it. Shouts to hubby for buying me the new "Black Eyed Peas," game for Wii because I feel like I am in the club every night, without having to deal with the foolishness of the club scene. ;)
Moving on.....

Fast forward to college where I studied Business Management at Touro College in NYC. Anytime one of my professors would state that I had to write an essay (which was quite often) I would get excited because I always liked to voice my opinion, my reasoning and anything else that could go down on paper. There was just so much to say and the best way for me to say it and get it across was on paper. With pride I will tell you that I always received an A on my papers, go me!
Now lets fast forward again to summer of 2010. Being inspired by so many successful blogs like http://www.curlynikki.com/ and http://www.theybf.com/ I was very excited to start my own blog and knew for sure that I wanted it to be a positive environment where I can voice my opinion, give some insight and possibly inspire all. With that said, the site started off a bit rocky as I didn't want it to be another gossip site as we have plenty of those but unfortunately I did go down that path for a bit as I wanted to give the readers something they were use to at that time. Finally I realized, duh, just be yourself and due to me just being myself, my blog is now going where I want it too.
Finally, after all the foolishness, I developed positively jewls a.ka. fabwtalk exactly the way I wanted it to be and I love it. I will bring across to you daily topics that come to mine because boy do I have allot to say :) I love to inspire anyway I can and that is what I hope you take from this site on a daily basis.
