While having a very enlightening conversation with a friend, I realized that some people actually feed off of criticizing others. When a person is spending time criticizing others, how can they really take the time to be grateful for what they have?
There are so many people who spend their free time talking about the next person, taking joy from the next persons hardships to make themselves feel better and feeding off of overall drama and gossip that they forget to appreciate what they have. When you spend so much of your time being negative, how can you be grateful to wake up and see another day, be grateful that you are breathing another breath of air, that you are able to tell your loved one you love them.
Once you are grateful for what you have in your life today, your happiness will shine through and your future will be abundant. If you choose to instead spend your time criticizing others then you will just bring more negativity into your life and possibly take on the same hardships of those you are criticizing or worse.
Life is to short to waste y our time being a critic. Instead, just be grateful for all of life's offerings, big and small and enjoy the awesomeness of just being happy.
