Go Solo & Enjoy It...

Have you ever wanted to do something but decided not to because you had no one to go with?  Have you chosen not to go at it alone because you think people will look at you like you are crazy?  Well if this is the case then you have probably missed out on allot of adventures and now is the time to change that.

Whether you are single or in a partnership there may be things you want to do that your friends or partner don't and because they don't you may say to yourself, "oh well, I guess I"m not going to do it then." No, no, no, now is the time to stop saying no and start saying yes.  Whether you believe it or not it is perfectly ok for you to go out to restaurants, movies, shows, etc, alone.

Let's take myself for instance, I love going to the movies with hubby but at times there are things that I want to see and he doesn't so I go alone and I truly enjoy it.  I go to the movies, enjoy the movie and my own company, when I return hubby and I discuss what I saw and if I enjoyed myself and it's all good.  I'm relaxed, I had me time and now it's hubby and I time. You see where I'm going with this?

Going solo is a good way to relax and have time to yourself and is definitely a great way for you to learn to enjoy your own company and as a plus it's a confidence booster.  Another plus is that, you know that friend that likes to talk through the whole movie?..well you don't have to worry about that if you go alone once in a while. ;)

Solo time is a great thing and you'll have something to share with your partner and friends when you return.  Next time, maybe they will want to join you and if not that is ok as you're comfortable enough to go at it alone.  Going out alone may feel awkward at first but once you try it just once, you will be hooked.

What things do you like to do or go to alone?  Although you love your partner and friends very much, isn't it nice to just enjoy your own company sometimes?

Thank you all so very much for reading and please feel free to leave your thoughts and comments below.
