You Will Never Be Satisfied....

Through the years, I have learned that you will never be truly satisfied in life until you are doing what you're passionate about and truly love.

Most of us have been trained since kids, to get an education, get a job and pay the bills.  What we usually don't get taught, is to get an education, get a job and continue to pursue our dreams.  When you are not taught to follow your dreams (because they can come true) or at least try to conquer what you want out of life then you are stuck in a whirlwind of regret.

I have been blessed to consistently maintain different jobs since I was 17 but I can honestly say that none of them have completely satisfied me.  The first job I had was at K-Mart and I lasted only six months and then I was done.  Every job after that I always have a breaking point and around the two year mark I start to get this empty feeling and become irritated because I know I am in a place where I don't want to be forever.

After all these years I have come to the conclusion that if I don't put my fear to the side and follow my heart I will never be truly satisfied.  If I don't try to pursue my dreams then years from now I will just be pissed at myself and kicking myself in the ass for not trying.

We all must realize that our dreams can become a reality but we have to work hard to make it happen.  Once again, I am blessed to have a full time job as an assistant and work with a great group of people but I know it's not something I want to do for the rest of my life.  With my new found determination and courage and with fear no longer being an option, I am making my dreams a reality.

Every day is a challenge and it's not easy but I know the harder I work towards my dream the more I will accomplish.  Along with my day job I am a writer and jewelry maker and with continued determination I know I will continue to build my brand and once and for all be truly satisfied in my career.

In the process of achieving your dreams it will not be all lollipops and bubble gum (especially when dealing with the naysayers) all the time but it will be so worth it in the end.

Are you chasing your dream and determined to make it happen? If you aren't, what will you do today to change that?

Thanks so much for reading and remember to leave your thought and comments below.
